Terms of Service

EFFECTIVE JULY 12, 2026

Welcome to Monolink. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Monolink website, applications, and services (collectively, the “Platform”). By creating an account, posting a bounty, referring a candidate, applying to a role, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1. Who we are

The Platform is operated by Monolink LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (“Monolink”, “we”, “us”), with a mailing address at 1115 S College Ave, Newark, DE 19713, United States. You can reach us at help@monolink.ai.

2. What Monolink does

Monolink is a hire-through-humans referral marketplace. Employers (“Posters”) publish open roles with a cash “bounty” payable when a referred candidate is hired. Members (“Referrers”) share tracked referral links. Candidates (“Applicants”) apply, either signed-in or as a guest. If an Applicant is hired through a Referrer’s tracked link, the Referrer earns the bounty under the terms set by the Poster.

Monolink is a venue that connects Posters, Referrers, and Applicants. Monolink is not an employer, recruiter of record, staffing agency, or employment agency. We do not make hiring decisions and we do not guarantee any hire, any interview, or any payout.

3. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • You must be legally allowed to use the Platform under the laws of your country of residence and any jurisdiction from which you access the Platform.
  • You must not be on any U.S. Treasury sanctions list or reside in a jurisdiction subject to U.S. embargo.
  • If you use the Platform on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company to these Terms.

4. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity on your account. You must give accurate information at signup and keep it up to date. You must tell us at help@monolink.ai if you suspect unauthorized access. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Bounties, referrals, and payouts

Posters

  • You set the bounty amount, salary range, and role details. You must have the right to post the role and offer the bounty on behalf of the company named.
  • You decide who to hire, on what terms, and when the hire is complete. Monolink does not participate in that decision.
  • A bounty becomes payable when the referred Applicant is hired by you. You will confirm the hire on the Platform. You are responsible for paying the bounty in full once confirmed.

Referrers

  • Only share Monolink referral links with people you know or with communities where the link is on-topic and welcome. Spam, mass-scraped outreach, and impersonation are prohibited (see Section 7).
  • A bounty is earned only if the Applicant you referred is hired for the specific role tied to the tracked link, and the hire is confirmed on the Platform.
  • You are solely responsible for any taxes or reporting obligations on bounties you earn. Monolink may collect tax information (for example, a W-9 or W-8) before paying out.

Applicants

  • You may apply signed-in or as a guest. The Poster (and, if applicable, the Referrer) will see the information you submit.
  • You may not receive any share of a bounty. Bounties are paid to the Referrer, not the Applicant.

6. Payments

Payouts to Referrers are processed off-Platform today (a manual MVP flow) and will move to automated payout once available. All payouts are made in U.S. dollars unless we say otherwise. Payment processors may charge fees; those fees are borne by the party initiating the payment. Monolink is not a bank, money transmitter, or fiduciary and does not hold funds on behalf of any party.

7. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

  • Post fake bounties, fake companies, or roles you are not authorized to represent.
  • Refer candidates without their consent, or submit applications on someone else’s behalf without their consent.
  • Send spam, mass unsolicited messages, or use automated tools to harvest referral links or scrape the Platform.
  • Circumvent the tracked referral link (for example, by arranging an off-Platform hire to avoid paying a bounty).
  • Misrepresent your identity, employer, or qualifications.
  • Upload malware, attempt to breach security, or interfere with Platform operation.
  • Use the Platform to violate any law, including anti-discrimination law.

We can remove content, suspend accounts, void bounties, and cooperate with law enforcement in response to violations of this section.

8. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you submit (bounty posts, referral messages, applications, resumes, etc.). You grant Monolink a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, transmit, and process that content for the purpose of operating and improving the Platform. You represent that you have the rights necessary to grant this license and that your content does not violate anyone else’s rights.

9. Third-party services

The Platform uses third-party services, including Supabase (database and auth), Vercel (hosting), Mailgun (email), Telegram (admin alerts), Firecrawl and OpenAI (optional job-URL parsing). Your data may pass through these processors as needed to operate the Platform. See our Privacy Policy for details.

10. Intellectual property

The Platform, its design system, brand marks, and non-user content are owned by Monolink or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from the Platform except as expressly allowed by these Terms.

11. Disclaimers

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT ANY REFERRAL WILL LEAD TO A HIRE, THAT ANY BOUNTY WILL BE PAID, OR THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MONOLINK AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE FEES YOU PAID TO MONOLINK IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD $100).

13. Indemnification

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Monolink from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your use of the Platform, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

14. Termination

You can stop using the Platform any time and delete your account by emailing help@monolink.ai. We can suspend or terminate your access, remove content, and refuse service if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or the law. Sections 8, 10, 11, 12, 13, 15, and 16 survive termination.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top and notify you by email or in-Platform notice before they take effect. Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect means you accept them.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Platform will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction and venue there. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive relief for infringement of intellectual property rights.

17. Miscellaneous

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Monolink about the Platform. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
